Standard Times

Class Variance

This table shows the time in seconds per mile we should expect a horse of a certain class to run slower than the Standard Time. For example, a Class 1 horse should run a mile race 3.6secs slower than the Standard Time. A Class 4 horse should run a 6f race 4.72secs (0.75 miles x 6.3 seconds) slower than Standard Time, and a Class 6 horse should run a 1m4f race 10.35secs (1.5 miles x 6.9 seconds) slower than Standard Time.
